I was on Facebook RSVPing to event invitations and this brilliant invitation caught my eye. York County Social Media Meetup provide an opportunity for people to meetup in York AND if you can’t make it they offer a live stream feed so you can be there without being there.

Their next event is scheduled for 15th April and I want to be there just to experience it live. This is another great example of a local service provider using the internet to raise their profile.
